Women in Science Panel organised by The British Consulate General, İstanbul celebrating the 100th anniversary of votes for women as well as The International Day of Women and Girls in Science took place on Monday, February 12, at The Grand Hyatt Hotel.
The main topics of the discussion were the needs and the goals of the women working in the field of STEM, suggestions for providing the young girls with curiosity and interest in science and the importance of the identification of good role models.
Vispera CEO and Sabancı University Network faculty Aytül Erçil, Sabancı University Vice President Şirin Tekinay, Boğaziçi University Vice President Naz Zeynep Atay and Koç University faculty Seda Keskin attended the event as panelists.
